Estrategias para Involucrar a Jóvenes Latin@s en Conversaciones Directas sobre las Relaciones Saludables – Seminario web

Como miembros de nuestra comunidad, sabemos que nuestros jóvenes corren el gran riesgo de experimentar violencia en el noviazgo, al igual que otras formas de victimización que pueden tener un impacto negativo sustancial y duradero. Muchas veces, los jóvenes no tienen acceso a información con sentido para ellos; ni oportunidades para desarrollar las habilidades necesarias para identificar una relación no saludable, ni saber cómo terminar una cuando ésta ha comenzado.

Únase a nosotros para explorar estrategias que les ayudarán a hablar y apoyar a los jóvenes, tanto en nuestras vidas personales como profesionales y a aumentar sus conocimientos y habilidades sobre la importancia de las relaciones saludables, no violentas. En este seminario los estaremos retando a que ejerzan influencia en las vidas de los jóvenes de manera que conduzcan a cambios tanto en las circunstancias, como en los resultados. También le invitaremos a apoyar a la juventud en su compromiso de establecer relaciones fuertes y saludables que tendrán un impacto positivo en sus vidas. Juntos exploraremos las estrategias y oportunidades que conduzcan a la toma de decisiones que generarán cambios positivos en las vidas de los jóvenes.

Strategies for Engaging Latin@ Youth in Straightforward Conversations about Healthy Relationships – Webinar

As members of our community, we know that our youth are at great risk for experiencing dating violence, as well as other forms of victimization that can have a substantial and long lasting negative impact. Far too often, youth do not have access to information that makes sense to them, nor opportunities to develop the necessary skills to identify an unhealthy relationship or to know how to end one when it becomes unhealthy.

Join us in exploring strategies that will support us in talking with and supporting the young people in our professional and personal lives to increase their knowledge and skills about the importance of healthy, nonviolent relationships. Through this webinar we will challenge you to influence the lives of youth in ways that lead to change in circumstances and outcomes. We will also encourage you to support youth in their commitment to developing strong, healthy relationships that will positively impact their lives. Let us together explore strategies and opportunities that lead to choices that create positive change in the lives of youth.
