$1,000: First month’s rent for a woman and her children moving out of El Refugio and into an apartment of their own.

$500:

 Educates advocates on Latinas’ realities and provides tools for working across cultures through a training session with our staff.

$200:

 A community workshop or taller – offered for and by Latinas – that builds leadership, creates connections and initiates conversation around strong and healthy families and communities.

$100:

 Printing and postage for a monthly newsletter filled with parenting resources and tips.

$50:

 Internet service for one month at a Resource and Information Center.

 Weekly bus fare to work and back for a woman staying with family
