Partnerships

Our partnership with Asian Women United of Minnesota and DAP (Domestic Abuse Project) was created to improve the multicultural effectiveness of all three organizations. This alliance of two organizations of color and one mainstream organization is committed to current and emerging leadership by women of color--not only in our agencies but also throughout the field of domestic violence. The partnership reframes the expectations for collaboration within the field of domestic violence and brings women of color to the forefront in leading groundbreaking work. www.awum.org and www.mndap.org

Casa de Esperanza is working with Praxis International and the Battered Women's Justice Project to present an advocacy training institute on "Responding to Domestic Violence in Latino Communities," November 17-19, 2004.
